2019 NJ General Election Information

The Voter Registration for the 2019 General Election is October 15th.

The deadline to apply for a Mail-In Ballot is October 29th.

The application deadline to receive a General Election Mail-In Ballot by Electronic Means for Qualified Overseas Civilian and Military Voters is November 1st.

For new voters, please note that if you can register to vote and apply for a mail-in ballot on your registration form. All registration forms for Middlesex County are available in English, Spanish, Gujarati, Hindi, and Punjabi.

General Election Day is Tuesday, November 5th.

Notes on NJ Voting Rights and Access:

• Voter ID requirements - A voter is NOT required to present identification at the polls, but ID may be requested if you did not provide identification to the county commissioner of registration or if the identification information could not be verified.

• Voter Rights & Accessibility Information can be found HERE.

• If you are no longer serving a sentence, or no longer on parole or probation, you CAN vote in NJ by completing a new voter registration form. If you have any questions, contact your County Commissioner of Registration.
